I took the front calipers off my 2000 Lightning today to paint them/bleed the system. Me being a dumbass, wasn't paying attention and now I don't know left from right:poke: Are there any specific things I should look for to tell the two apart? :kaboom:
Thanks!

Bleeder screw should always be the highest (uppermost) fitting on the caliper.
Otherwise you'll never get all the air out when bleeding the brakes.

I suppose that would make sense, wouldn't it?

Doesn't the caliper only fit on one way?

I really can't say. I still have the calipers off in my basement while I paint them. I haven't tried to put them back on or anything; just thought I'd ask while I'm ahead of myself.

I guess I'll post up some pictures, as well.

I think they're deserving of the red thumb of approval

Also thinking about painting the clip that holds the pads on (taped off in the picture) black to match the truck. Either way, I'll figure it out, slap some clear on there and hope all is well!
