Maybe the terminator was over-built by timeline necessity, but I see Colletti leaving the program after the terminator as the reason the GT500 became more of a sales emphasis than giving the costumer what that wanted (as happened with the terminator).
GT500 has a step forward: 5.4L
Then steps back: Not as capable holding power (rods) heavier, bigger (interior was nice for those like my bother in law who is 6’4 and won’t fit in a new edge), price jack up, no irs
