10K markup on that, plus 14's should not affect 13's that much. They are the same car


The main reason for a dealer to make a good deal on a 13 now is because the car has been sitting and they are losing money. Now is the time for people to go out and find 13's sitting on lots

I would guess any dealer who still has a 13 isn't in any hurry to give it away, but the dealers who are willing to deal most likely have sold there 13's. So you might find one at MSRP or lower but given the fact that many people are paying almost MSRP for used ones leads one to think that they are not going to be a bargain anytime soon.

I agree. Not sure why people think the 13 is going to take such a huge hit. I've said it before, but I guess I'll mention it again, when the 03/04 Cobras were out, I don't remember the 03's dropping just because the 04 came out.

And once you fast forward a few years, and if you looked at the price for used 03/04, they were pretty much all around the same price, no real noticeable difference between the 2 years.

Because the 13/14 is the same car, and if a dealer has one on the lot and will sell at sticker, or the person can order a 14 and pay either sticker or a little more, I would be totally fine paying for a 13 that is already built, on the lot, granted it being what I wanted of course.

I haven't seen any discounts on them like that. Sure maybe a few dealers out there are willing to make a deal, but you make it sound as if all over, there are standard discounts, which there are not.
