Hey guys I just picked up some DD darkstars 15X10 with MT 275/50-15's with about 200 miles on them, and DD Darkstars 17X4.5 but the tires for the front have to be replaced. Picked them up for 800. Iv been looking through threads on front runners and I'm not sure where to go. The car is not 100% a DD, it gets drove half the time and my pick up the other half. The price on actual front runners seems steep. I'm really wanting to run something a little wider and taller than a 185/55-17, and something a little better for the street.
My buddy on his old lightning with 17x4.5s in the front ran a regular grand touring all season tire in 215/65-17 and never had a problem. Said they took some finessing to get on the wheel though lol...would I have an issue running those on the car?
This is my first time running bigs and littles so I am a complete noob when it come to the tires for them, so any recommendations are appreciated.
