I was at a car show last weekend and there was a GT-40. I thought hey nice kit car but the guy who owns it or drove it to the show said they are a continuation car and are for sale. He said it cost like 170,000 Canadian or 106,000 American. What would anybody here do if they had that kind of money. Buy a continuation GT-40 or buy the new Ford GT.

If I had 150 million dollars, I would buy a GT40 and a New Ford GT.

I love the GT40's they are so sweet. I'm glad that the design really didn't change too much from old to new.

I guess it depends on what you want to do with the car?

'60's technology is exactly that, '60 technology. Is a GT-40 worth more? Absolutely! Is it cooler? Depends on what your idea of cool is?

The new Ford GT is an awesome vehicle taking advantage of design improvements over a span of 40 years. If you won a contest and could have either car it would be a damn tough choice for me. Would I choose an awesome car with an awesome history? Or would I choose a car that would out perform the original? I guess it would depend on my mood that day?

 :coolman:
