That's really cool, OP! Thanks for sharing. On a separate note, I grew up as a kid in Jackson, TN, about 120-miles or so west of Nashville on I-40--I miss the country sometimes!

Great pics, I love seeing stuff like this. Thanks for sharing.

Also, I bet that Coca Cola sign is worth some money.

Take the Coke sign for sure. I would walk those fields with a metal detector. You could possibly find some neat stuff!

Around 12 years ago me and some friends stayed at a Memphis campground and after going through some brush we found a very similar sight. It's very cool.

Hey thanks guys....Yea its super cool! heres a link to a couple old photos of the place. Its grown up a lot over the last 10 years or so...Use to be pretty much no grass on the strip. and the grafiti is pretty recent, was sad to see that. there is talks of putting a neighbor hood where it is :(

Here is a link to a few pics on a website...They are on the first page on the upper left its a slideshow, you can get an idea of what it use to look like back in the glory days.

On another separate note... I currently live in Jackson.

Wish i had land outside of town, but currently living on the Northeast side of city limits.

OP, great shots. Would be neat to get a Mustang/Cobra/Shelby/ down in there for a shoot. Doesn't look to promising though...
