Oil weight for '96 Cobra with Vortech?

The car doesn't get driven in the winter. I'd like to use M1 10W-30 or 5W-30, as the local Big Box retailer sell cases at very reasonable prices, but won't go that route if not recommended.

SNAKEYE has seen nothing but Castrol Syntec 5W-50 for all of the 58K, Vortech-equipped, miles. It works for me.
Despite the difficulty, don't avoid removing and cleaning the oil injector nozzle at each oil/filter change.

I use M1 10w-30 Full Svynthetic every oil change.

All I use in mine is 5w30 Castrol Syntec in mine.

All right...the consensus is that oil weight doesn't matter so much.

The oil passages in the mod blocks are kinda small in size, might want to stick with the stock weight. BTW, I'm still using 5W-30 with my Vortech setup. Stock, non- rebuilt engine, 135K/ 30K supercharged.
