Most likely not billet, since even the Aluminator came with a powdered metal gear "plastic" basically. The only engine that came with a billet gear was the Cobra Jet. So I foresee the same thing happening again, a saying comes to mind "history repeats itself".

are you saying powdered metal is basically plastic?

they are not plastic! it is metal and made using a different method that makes it a bit weaker than typical billet steel. I still dont think it is absolutely necessary if you are not constantly revving past 7000 rpm.

The "plastic" comment was me being sarcastic, it really isn't plastic. But going above the recommended revolutions will make it turn into plastic hahahaha.
