oil pressure

On my stang I have a electric oil presure gauge. After a Higher RPM it is now at zero. How do i know its the sending unit and not the motor. No oil in coolant, limped it home with no movement in engine temp. No loud noises. No leaks.

Any thoughts?

hook up the volt meter to the sending unit and see if there is a volt source going to it...
