what do you recommend for pan to pickup clearance? I just assembled my 1999 cobra teksid shortblock with a ford racing oil pump and pickup (MPN# M-6600-D46). I measured gap on front side as ~.200 and back side (trans side) at ~.125. This seems way to low for what I would expect. around .350 or so.
Is it possible to adjust this? Possibly trim the hex stud under the pickup? What do you guys do?
