I'm about to remove my oil pan to replace the gasket as well as my rear main seal. I thought I remember reading that the oil pan bolts shouldn't be re-used. Is this true or can I just put them back in with the new gasket in place. Thanks.

great thank you! One more question. With the tranny out and the motor mounts disconnected i should be able to lift the motor high enough to slide the pan out correct? I figure I should be able to lift the motor at least 4in's or so.

Yes. You should only have to raise the engine about 6 inches to clear the front and the rear should drop away from the oil pickup tube.
