So I got under the car yesterday and found no real obvious issues. I can see possibly the bottom of the dipstick tube could be the issue as it too was saturated with oil. I did tighten the filter a bit more by hand only. Well, two hands and 205 lbs of weight behind it. Didn't leak under normal driving. Tried to get a few boost pulls in after dinner at chills but it started pouring before we left dinner.
I saw no real products specifically for a crankcase breather designed for the gt500 other then the metco k&n cover filter. I think I may assume the threads on the filter post are stretched or there's some sort of damage I cannot see. It looked looks like a replaceable part. I just need to find it now.....
