Hey Guys,
I was draining my coolant system today and noticed there was a layer of oil floating on top of the anti-freeze in the drivers side coolant res. I didn't install a Oil Sep. until about 20k miles....do i have something cracked somewhere or is this from the PCV system? Any input would be great i left it unfilled until if figure out if this a a problem somewhere.

i'm gonna refill it and keep a good watch on it...i'm thinking it's something minor that could turn into something major...o well if the motor goes i'll get a new one with the Warranty i have on. Makes me wanna go ahead and finish up my shortblock.

What is the verdict???? I think I have the same prob you have. Checked my fluid and I had a nice layer of what seemed like oil on the inside wall of my coolant Reservoir.

Let me know
