Anyone here deleted their factory oil cooler and run a remote one? Need a new one since the old one most likely has metal shavings in it but obviously can't find a new one due to them being discontinued.

Thanks!

You want the one off of my car? It was recently rebuilt when I had my motor torn down and redone. I'm thinking about going to the 2V oil filter adpater.

I was looking for something new but as long as it doesn't have any metal shavings in it I should be fine lol.

How much do you want for it?

Deleted it on mine and went with an external oil cooler + fan combo. Started with a 2V adapter, had the outlet cut n welded, took a two piece hose to connect the lower back up. Welded a pair of AN fittings in place, braided pair of lines to the cooler (mounted in front of the drivers wheel). Cool part, filter still sits on the engine, only cooler is remote. Has 100% cured my overheating on killer hot days or when beating the absolute hell outta it on a lapping session.
