Ok. I've researched and researched and came up with using the oem 2v or Mark viii filter housing. My questions are 1) do I need anything else? 2)where can I buy new, but not from Ford?

Thank you.

I don't wanna risk fluid contamination. That seems to be more of an issue. And ford wants $327 for that housing.

Getting rid of the factory oil-to-water cooler is a good idea. Not having a method to cool the oil is not.

I would consider an air-to-oil cooler and the oil thermostat.
