Finally changed my oil today, and I have a question. I know Ford put some messed up dip sticks in the cobras, but I just want to make sure. When I put 6.5 quarts in I started her up for about a minute then shut it off. Let it sit for about 30 seconds or so and then checked the oil. On the stick it showed around a half or a little under a half, is that right?

You must wait more than 30 seconds to get an "accurate" dipstick reading. I check mine after the oil has had plenty of time to flow back down into the pan...as long as you put in 6 or 6.5 quarts you are good to go, just don't check the level right away after shutting it off since it will be "off."
