I just put a JLP oil breather cap on my truck, JL told me via e-mail that I did not a chip re-burn for this mod. Is this true? What can happen if I dont do a re-burn.

Last time I was at JDM, Jimmy told me an Oil Breather did require a chip reburn.

I would give them a call.

Adam, I've been running mine for over a year with no reburn and no problems. It's not critical.

But the call sure wouldn't hurt. 732-780-0770

If you have one of our chips, a reburn may or may not be required. Most of our programs are load based programs and will automatically compensate for this mod. So to sum up....

Do you need a reburn for the Oil breather? It depends on the programming of your chip.

Hope this helps.
