I posted this in SN 95, but thought I would post here as well:

I had a good feeling last night when I finished all of the engine work on the KB install; all I have left is adding the chip and BAP. Sometime during the night my eyes suddenly openned realizing I had not cleaned the butterflies on the IMRC! Although they were not gummy, I had planned to clean them up with some carburator cleaner before re-installing them. Should I tear everything back down and clean them or is it not that big of an issue for now?

21, 600 miles on odometer...I'm quite sure they had not been cleaned.

that's not so bad. I woke up at 4:17 this am ready to throw up and shit all over myself. I love the flu.
Are you in a hurry to get the car back on the road? If not, I would tear it back down and clean them. Probably not all that necessary, but it would be done and out of the way for a while.
