While I had the car in the air for the BMR rear suspension install I decided to do an axle swap as well. I unhooked the e-brake cable out of the caliper clip like shown without much effort. My issue is upon reinstalling both sides is I found the passenger side would be essentially engaging the E-brake if I just popped it back into place!

Driver side is fine, popped back into place and everything operates like it should, but the passenger side not so much. Its almost as though the cable was shortened or adjusted up by a good 3/8" but I know that's not the case. I can pop it in there but its very tight, tight enough for the brake to be locked up SOLID!

Any ideas where I went wrong?

The bracket is kind of counter-sunk. There's an indentation on the bottom of the bracket, where the metal stopper part on the line is supposed to seat into the bracket. If that isn't lined up and seated into the indentation, your brakes will drag.
