Until I get my car dynoed to see if the new KB blower/chip is functioning properly, I am adding a little octane booster to my gas. They say it changes the color of the plugs. The change of color does not concern me...does the octane booster cause any other problems? Thanks!

i would stay away from octane booster with TMT in it. it makes your plugs like rust brown. one of my good friends had a problem with this it took a while to get it out of the fuel system to. he was running 11# of boost. i have also had a friend who has good luck with it but he runs 22# of boost so i wouldnt just throw it in there unless u think u really need it.

The octane booster isn't going to really do anything anyway, and the changing color of the plugs SHOULD concern you, as the color of the plugs is one way of diagnosing problems with the engine. It could lead to come false analysis, especially if there are issues on the dyno. THAT should concern you.

Octane booster is a complete waste of money. Don't use it.
