OCD Kicked In

I put the Redline hood struts in, but the black brackets in the otherwise Ruby Red engine bay were eyeing me. So today my OCD kicked and I airbrushed the brackets with touch up lacquer.

I didn't even think of doing it like that!!

I had mine hardware painted grabber blue by JLT. He charged me 15.00 to do the lower brackets. I actually had a can of that the dealer gave me. I used it on a paint brush to touch up the bolts after they got the paint chipped off. it all looks factory.

Yup, that would be the quicker and cheeper way to go. I didn't think I would care that much, but I did.

I'd like to do the same thing with my lower brackets. Did you get the Ruby Red paint from the Ford dealer ?

Yea just reg bottle of touch up paint.
