hey friends, heres my dilemma. ive got Kooks long tubes, a cattless bassani X and a magnaflow CB with the 14 in. oval mufflers. (these are the quiet ones right?)

a 306 stroker with a KB and blower cams is running through it and it sounds like an american outlaw sprint car! it just arrived from out of state and is now in CA and i cant drive it, or im getting pulled over, i know it. its friggin LOUD!

the mag. mufflers i believe are the oval quiet ones, so those should be staying and im going to put baffles in the exhaust tips.

i want to weld in OBDII cats(a pair) to get the most quiet, but how much power am i going to really lose, and will they hold up to 100 octane in the tank full time?

lastly, will my set up quiet me down at least by half? if you guys have any other advice on how to guiet me down, please, please let me know. different cats, different mufflers etc. thanks guys:beer:
