I could never find a definative explanation on how to re route the O2 harness so they plug into the O2s directly without the extensions. Van Collier pointed me in the right direction.
Undo all of the clips around the top of the trans. Disconnect all of clips holding the harness to the side of the trans along the drivers side. Disconnect all off the drivers side O2 sensors and the plug at the rear of the trans. Pull the entire harness to the passenger side bring the harness under the trans. Plug in the O2s and trans plug. Tie of the excess harness to the trans with tywraps
