while I generally agree. There are car shows dedicated to that single truck style (C10) so they are pretty damn popular. The main thing people love about them is the insane mileage they get..even thought they only make about 180hp lol

C10 trucks are ****ing awesome. I've got a 63' stepside and it's easily my favorite project to date. at least they had gotten rid of the inline 6's before the 80's- weighed 812lb, just the motor

I agree as I had a 69 and it was quick as hell with a 350 and powerglide trans

lol funny you mention the I6 setups. My buddy loves the "big block" 292 (4.8L) they put in them. He said in stock form the are only about 100hp and 230ftlbs (which is alot for that motor). He said he normal does full exhaust, cam, and some intake and carb work. He says it barely makes 150-160HP but will easily make 300+ ftlbs. Little stump puller.

Thats the years I like also (67-72). Sad thing is everything i can afford (around $5k as i dont finance toys lol) has a drip rails, rockers and floor boards you can see through...or is a long bed.

My dad is an early C10 guy. We just sold a frame off 53 5 window.

well you do live in florida (meaning rust is a big issue there). I would love a 55-57 chevy 3100 one day but it'll be a while
