I dont know but its too bad the mom didnt get hit. You walked into the street without looking and then once you finally did notice a car coming instead of pulling your children out of the way, you just saved yourself and let them get hit instead.

I don't check both ways, most streets here are one way and i usually only check the way a car would be coming 99.9999% of the time. I only check both ways when there is a bike lane since they never follow that rule.
