The testing of this Shelby will happen even before you or anyone else get the car on a dragstrip, so the time the mags gets will be the time on a surface that the ZR1 was tested on. [QUOTE="Cman01, post: 16232958, member: 138028"] You obviously don't get it. You can't even count the # of paragraphs my post has in your reply (BTW, it's 3 numb nuts). The unequitable conditions you keep referring to is the fact that you are stuck on dragstrip performance when the mags don't get a time on a dragstrip. AGAIN FOR THE FINAL TIME I'LL SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU...…...IF YOU TEST ONE CAR ON A CERTAIN SURFACE FOR A COMPARISON THE OTHER CAR SHOULD ALSO BE TESTED ON THE SAME SURFACE TO GET A COMPARABLE TIME!!!!!! You keep saying dragstrip for the SHELBY like you hope it will do a better time than the ZR1 tested on the regular roads, how is that a fair comparison? You test both cars on EITHER SURFACE NOT 1 CAR ON 1 SURFACE AND THE OTHER CAR ON THE OTHER SURFACE. Is that too hard for you to understand??? Obviously it looks like it is. You're the one adding variables. The testing of this Shelby will happen even before you or anyone else get the car on a dragstrip, so the time the mags gets will be the time on a surface that the ZR1 was tested on. That will be a comparable test to the ZR1 test by the same mag. Do you get it???? You want dragstrip times, so either wait till MM&FF test this car (cause they'll test *OH MY GOD* on a dragstrip (probably with Evan Smith driving it) and look up a dragstrip time for a stock ZR1 (that's 10.36 according to CF fast list)) or you lin'em up and see who's faster in a real race, or wait for a comparison test by some mag where they have both cars together to test together. ****!!!! It's simple and you make it complicated. The Jim Mero lap time I heard was when Chevy was doing reliability testing @ VIR for 24 hrs, they ran a ZR1 continuously for that time only adding fuel and changing tires and during that time period they got that lap time.
