Do the NT05's hook well on the street with a 500+ rwhp car?
I want matching tread tires in 245/40/18 and 285/35/18 or 295 that are sticky for the street. Its a fair weather car and will only see rain maybe once or twice a year and is driven very little so tread wear is no concern.

I was seriously considering BFG KDW's and BFG Drag for the rear but have heard they are wider than most tires.

Any help or experience is appreciated.

Thank you for the post.

The NT05 Max Performance actually hooks really well for a dedicated summer tire. It won't hook as well when compared to a drag radial but when compared to other dedicated summer tires the NT05 is considered the best option for traction from a dig or roll. Check out some of the reviews in the thread linked below.
