My car is a 2003 Cobra with a 2.93 pulley, CAI, O/R x pipe, Flows. No tune but I did have it dyno'd and A/F checked. Supposed to get mail order tune this week. Car put down 480 hp 473 tq corrected (466hp 458 tq). Best pass was 12.6 @ 113 mph w/2.0 60ft. I ran a couple of 12.7 and 12.8's with traps in 114 and 115. Slicks are a must, I realize that now. The humidity was also kind of high (80%)which may have contributed to the low trap speeds. Do these numbers sound about right or what? I just got the car 2 months ago.

I just can't launch with street tires. It bites pretty good in second since I got some new rubber but there is no way to get outta the hole without spinning.

And I need to change my numbers in sig to corrected 466 458

Really no point to go to the track with that kind of power and street tires... Truthfully id be happy with a 12.6, cause im sure it was spinning baaaaad. Should run 11's when you get a tire.. and you dont need slicks.. Try the M/T drag Radials.. There amazing

For reference my car ran a 12.1 @ 120.8 on a 1.96 sixty. The Density altitude was 1760 ft( 86 degrees).
The track was not prepped worth a damn and I had to go through the water trap. There was no way around it which pissed me off. temp was 77 degrees DA was 1553 ft

Just keep driving it. There is a learning curve to it. No one can just jump right in and blast off great or perfect times. The more you run it the better your times will get. Even with no mod changes.

I would be pissed.
When my 2v GT was n/a it ran 12.20's at 111mph.
Now with a mild tune and 10psi it went 11.17@122.

He's only had the car for 2 months and he's on street tires. I would be pissed if i had 656hp and only trapped 133 :poke:

OP. Get that tune and keep practicing
