it's under 14.0 you need the roll bar
at Sac. I have heard this is an
interpretation thing as at other
NHRA "club" type events they
are not as picky.

I ran a few runs below 14, but
waited to really push it till
the last run. I ran a 13.6 even
with hitting the rev limiter at the
end of 3rd gear. When I got the
boot the reasons were :
- you ran under 14 's a few times
- and I had a passenger
- and no roll bar.

this really sucks....I should be
able to sign my life away fully
aware of the risks without this
BS for a stock car!!

I was debating on going if
they don't remember me and
if it does not rain. Gotta check
with the wifee.

One of my buddies that goes there whenever he can told me they are very lenient there in Sac, unlike Infinium. But with a passenger you cant go under 14. I want to bring my son down the track once.
So if you think about it these Cobras off the floor are not track legal right?

:cuss:  I was looking forward to it also, but it looks like its going to be wet. Even if the rain stopped tonight, the track may not even open.
Besides, inside every dark cloud is a silver lining....so that will give me time to get an X pipe, maybe a TB and a dyno run before the next chance to go to the track.
PS Id hate to drive my purty black car 200 miles through rain & fog. Call me anal, but I try to limit my car cleaning to one day a week.

I feel for you man, half of my staff at work is out with the flu. Hope you gotta flu shot, if so it should be a lessor strain of the flu if you got it.
We all should keep in touch so we can set a date to go there. <----- In my case beer, in yours it probably would be nyquill!
