what transmission fluid specs should i look for for my 2001 cobra. also, how many quarts (or liters) is the optimal capacity?

ya either way you cut it, the oil aint cheap lol
what are the consequences of overfilling? how can you tell if its full or not?
if you over fill it, you will over lube the suynchros and you will get a very notchy shift
ya synthetic is no good for trannys
If you are going to use Royal Purple, you need a friction modifier in there I think.
well... mine was more of a problem of good track prep, sticky tires, and nitrous
perhaps...but i know we didn't help it that one night we both missed 2nd
I wouldnt recomend using what Ford says, call Tremec they recomend GM synchromesh.

haha dexron is fine. its tranny fluid people aslong as its dexron III ATF u will be fine. just dont overfill!!
