I have a 98 GT making a weird noise. Sitting still I start accelerating slowly, clutch completely disengaged, and I hear a grinding noise, coming from the transmission, sometimes its quiet and sometimes its noisy. I took it to a shop and they said my clutch cable could be stretched, which would make the clutch not release from the flywheel as the pedal is depressed.
Idk maybe someone has had the same issue, or knows what this is.
