Noise from Exhaust when shifting....

I have a new Lightning and when I am standing all the way on it from a dead stop ,when it shifts from first to second a noise comes out of the exhaust. It sounds like the motor powers down a little and is sucking back air ,like the exhaust on my old standard pickup when I would push in the clutch between gears.

Is this normal? Can anyone tell me what this is?

Does it sound like the truck is farting
That is normal.
It is called tourqe reduction and 4 cyclinders are dropped during the shift.
You need a chip to fix that. :)

Yeah It does sound like a fart and I have noticed that it sounds off more often. Thanks for the reply.

I have a chip, filter kit and throttle body from JDM on the way.
