Just installed the typhoon manifold from american muscle yesterday. Popped the hood today to check for any leaks since by the time I finished yesterday I was too damn tired. Idle is normal, runs extremely smooth and I couldn't be happier with this manifold. I did find when I hit the throttle linkage slightly then let go n let the rpm's drop back down to idle that I get a whoosh from around the plenum area. I was able to recreate this by simply pulling the connector off of the IAC then plugging it back in. The whoosh lasts roughly 15 seconds after returning to idle. Any ideas ? I was sure to crank down on all of the bolts and reconnect the proper lines.
