No fuse / fusible link? - Budget Return Kit

Almost done installing my budget return kit and I get to this part of the instructions : "Solder and heat shrink the fusible link with the ring terminal on it to the (2) RED power wires. Then attach the fusible link with the ring terminal on it to the positive lug on the power distribution box" . I do not have the fusible link. Was it supposed to be part of the kit? If not what size fuse should I wire this with?
