Nitrous problems?

Hey guys, I am new to the forum.
Just finished installing a zex wet nitrous system on my 1999 cobra. Everything works fine, except after a nitrous pull the car will occasionally backfire loudly while deceleration. I was assuming this was caused by the nitrous. I also recently installed a prochamber o/r midpipe on it. Where the midpipe meets the header there might be an exhaust leak, I have to check it out again. Is the backfiring caused by nitrous? or the exhaust leak? or a mixture of the two.

If it was the nitrous you'd have a bigger problem lol. I'd say its just extra fuel thats causing the backfire. Does it have the same issue if your not spraying?

Yes it does, Installed o/r midpipe and nitrous at the same time. But it does backfire off the bottle sometimes now. Just last night underneath the car lit up pretty good after a run and i got worried.
