nitrous on heat exchanger

what benefits is there to spray the heat exhanger with nitrous?

Almost none.

If you want to try anything related to cooling the intercooler, use CO2 to lower the temp of the intercooler fluid. Its cheaper and more effective....although even that hardly produces much gain at all. Remember, cooling the intercooler doesn't produce any more power at all. it only allows you to run a bit more timing which in turn produces more power.

If your gonna run NOS, put it into the combustion chamber.

True that! A lower AIT allows for a couple degrees more timing.

What probably would be worth the investment is a water Meth kit this will drop the IAT and then you can add timing and or a bit more boost
