Price reduction!!

I have a NIB Steeda 13" rear brake conversion kit for sale. This kit fits all S-197 vehicles 2005-2014 Mustang.

The kit includes two aluminum caliper relocating brackets, two braided brake lines and two 13" directionally vaned and directionally slotted rotors for efficient cooling. This kit is a great upgrade for the anemic rear OEM brakes particularly if you're running the 14" front Brembo brakes.

Price: $395.00 shipping INCLUDED. (pic below)

This is the same kit that sells on the Steeda site for $539.95 WITHOUT shipping:

Bruce, would this be a good up grade for a boss 302?

Dave:

Yes, this would be an excellent upgrade for any S-197 vehicle that has the 14" front Brembo brakes. The rear brakes on these cars are the same brakes that come on a V-6 auto car and are pathetically undersized. But, as an upgrade over this kit, I would recommend our FT 9600, 13" rear conversion kit with the floating rotors. I developed our kit when I saw that the rear axle needed to come apart to install the Steeda kit. Our kit is a straight bolt on affair, has floating rotors and the 13" upgraded rotors in our kit are actually lighter than the OEM 11.88" rotors.

But having said that, this Steeda kit I'm selling is a lot less out of pocket.

Ok, I'm going to take this opportunity to make the final price reduction before I throw this Steeda kit on eBay. Price now $395.00 shipped.

For more information on the FT 9600 Full Tilt Boogie Racing brake conversion kit, you can go to our S-197 brake order page:

http://fulltiltboogieracing.com/2011-2013_Boss_302_Brake_parts.htm

On that same page you can see the weight of the OEM rear rotor:

And the weight of our 2 pc 13" floating rotor assembly.

As previously stated, this kit is a direct bolt on affair with no need to disassemble the differential. It steps up the leverage of the 11.8" OEM diameter to 13".

I originally developed this kit when I drove my 2007 Shelby GT 500 on track and realized the rear brakes were doing next to nothing. After the kit was installed I could feel better stopping and the rear of the car being more stable under hard braking.

Hope that helps.
