Nhra legal 4r70w????

im looking to get more into racing next spring now that ive dug my car into the 9s and to go from track to track hassle free ill need to have my nhra licence, so im finally breaking down and putting a cage and all the necessary safety equipment in the car... however i have not seen a proven way to make the bell housing on a 4r70w/4r75e nhra legal.

has anyone come acrossed a proven way

just talked to freddie about this and he said he doesnt like to do it. he said put a shield on it and its legal. can anyone confirm this?
