anybody body got a part number for ngk tr6's for our cars that the one everyone's talking about right?

part # is 4177. Gap should be .035 if you've got a smaller pulley.

don't forget to use some anti-seize when you install the new plugs.

Or you could use motor oil. When I put in new plugs I dab some oil on the threads first.

The NGK Tr6s are V-power right? The part number n my box says TR6-6078. Did I buy the wrong plugs?

I'll be running a 2.93" .

mine say 4177 tr6 on box hope i got the right one's cobra 808 quoted to me and advance auto came up with the same part number.

I didnt want to get the wrong ones since every auto parts store around here was like HUH? NGK TR WHAT? LOL. So I ordered them from Xtreme Motorsports. :rockon:

NGK TR6's #4177 is correct. Gap would depend on Pulley size. A rule of thumb I used with the Eaton was .038-.040 stock, .035-.038 down to 2.93 and .035 with the 2.80. I ran this plug with a 2.80 gapped at .035 for nine months with no issues. Switched to IT-22's when I went to the KB, probably could have kept them. How's it going Wally?????

4177 is the new stocking #.....the 6078 is the old stock # same plug though don't worry

What about a 2.76 or 2.75 pullies, what should they be gapped at with those NGK's?
