NEWB question: Whats under\oversteer?

In a few words, understeer is when the front is sliding out and oversteer is when the ass is sliding out. :)

Oversteer (also know as "loose" in Nascar) means your front wheels will turn but the ass end doesn't and wants to continue in the direction it's going.

Understeer (also know as "pushing" in Nascar) means you turn the front wheels and it doesn't want to turn. Similar to what it would do on snow or ice.

Cant think of the Nascar drivers name that once said understeer is when you hit the wall with the front end first, oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear first.

I believe that was Cale Yarborough? Just not positive!
