I am wondering what you guys think a c6 zo6 with cam and 150 shot will run and trap? My buddy told me it wouldnt be as fast as my cobra and i told him it would be faster. I am fine being wrong, but i just want to see what you guys have to say.

Should be pretty close, did you ever run your cobra? I would think both would be 9sec. cars with traction and driver mod.

Could easily be in the 9's at over 140. There is a guy over on CF than ran 9.9x with basically the mods you described.

Figure at least 700rw, which as most of us know, is enough to stay with a 800rw cobra.

Yea but only on 14psi with no 2step... 10.80 at 134. Buddy of mine just ran 9.86 at 139 on 15psi. But he has an auto and a solid rear.

I think a c6z with a cam, supporting bolt ons and a 150 shot would trap around 143 in the 1/4

Your old cobra and a z06 with these mods would be a close race

my bros z06 with K&N intake and headers ran 127mph all day and a best of 130mph with cam u would pick up a good 5-7mph and with the 150 u would get to around 145s atleast thats wat i gathered from reading the corvette forum.

There's a guy on Corvette Forum that went 10.16 @ 140.xx with bolt-on's (~500 RWHP), and a 100 shot, no cam. I'd say mid 140's with a cam and a 150 shot.

That pass by Ranger is kind of like Broke7's pass in his full weight ported Eaton Cobra (10.89 @ 127.xx) on ET streets.

Both great DA's (Ranger's was -850 ft, not sure what Broke's was) and excellent driving/track prep.

Sonblue03, congrats on getting that Z, I read the thread about it but not sure if I posted or not, was at work - good to hear the wife took it well, lol. That's an awesome machine!
