What are you reasons for going KB over Turbo?

It's a no brainer. Before I scored the deal on the motor set up I wasn't even in the market for another build. I did have a 02 2v stock block with a 70mm and all upr suspension. I'm not opposed to a turbo car just that this one just fell into place.

Decided to take it all the way down for further inspection. Glad I did. A couple of rod bearings need replacing.

How'd you clean up the pistons and rods/main caps while the engine was assembled?
