Bought these from a friend and put them on this weekend. Velgen VMB5s with 255/35s front and 295/30s rear. Need to lower the car a little more front and rear to be right.

Looking good, always liked that wheel.
Not sure that money CF front spoiler will like lowering, more like better tire sizing 275/35 fronts 305/35 rears to close that gap.
BTW, I'm working with a vendor to make aluminum 'skid plates' for the stock and SS front splitters.
Love the car though, great color.

Thanks Bimini! I know what your saying about the front spoiler. Every time I scrape it on something I cringe! I'm thinking about some 305/30/20 Nittos for the rear and that may fill the gap without lowering it more! I had the 305/35 Nittos but they were a little tall for my liking.

315/30/20 R888s?
Would you be interested in a skid plate?
Scott Rod Fab is a good friend, he's going to make one for my stock splitter and I just bought your CF one from SA, so going to have one made for that too.

Still in works. Be ready by spring.
R888s are pricey but DR like compound with stiffer sidewalks, perfect match for your vert. I'm throwing a set on my '93 Cobra come spring.

Same rims as me but I have Nitto Invo tires! I recently lowered mine with eibach pro-kit which is a good enough drop IMO....I don't have the CF splitter though! Love the splitter but I think Ive told you that before from one of your previous pics from the front.

Wheels look awesome as does your car, R888's with a 315 on the back is the way to go with GT 500's.

315s would have a little bit of a bulge if you don't mind that. I have 295 and they are a perfect fit without any bulge or stretch. Sometimes the 315s can look too big for the rim but that it my opinion. If you care about look, 295 or 305 would look the "cleanest". Performance wise, from my research, 315 will fit on stock springs. If you are looking to lower the car, depending on what springs, there might be an issue with 315.

American muscle sells the rims with or without tires &1600 sounds close for just wheels. I picked them up used for $1500 with michelins. I'm thinking a 305/30 R888, Nitto,Michelin or Pirelli p zero will be my choice. I have had 315s on it and I just don't like how high is sits with them on it. Personal preference I guess.

I have 315 R888s on an 11" wheel. They stick out about an 1/8" and with the correct offset still fit inside the fender. I think they are slightly shorter than the stock goodyear as opposed to taller like the mpss 295k1.
