Just installed my 18x10 fr500 with 305/35 r888 and it's still sitting in the fender a little to much for me. I'm thinking about installing 1/2" spacer to push them out a little.

Will I need to put extended studs in or will I still be ok?

anyone recommend another size spacer that would look better ?

Nice combo! The general rule of thumb is to have at least 6 (I like 8-10) threads exposed once torqued to 80-90tq.

If you don't drive aggressively, 4-5 threads is questionably "ok" but I err on caution. If it's right at 6 threads, I'd still get a quality longer stud. It's something I would not roll dice on or price shop too much. Now something minor like a taillight bulb or floor mat? I'd price shop till I found it dirt cheap.
