Can't wait to install!

First impressions out of the box
It feels incredible...just smooth and mechanical.
The shift ball feels really nice and looks great!
I can't wait to try this baby out. I don't have the 1-2 grind symptoms so I can't comment on that before or after the install. But I will let you know how it feels over stock.

I hope to install Sunday if the weather cooperates. ( have to drive to my father n laws house ..he has a lift) as it's been in the 40s here and never know when the snow or rain may show up.

Even the packaging is done with care and consistency.

You're gonna like that badboy.

Awesome shifter
The video is very helpful for the install. took me 3 1/2 hours to do mine (first time I ever swapped a shifter)

Installed the MGW Gen II today. Went very well but I had access to a lift which helped a TON!

This is a very well built piece!
The shifter feels completely different than the stocker. It's has a very clean tight feel. The shift from 2 over to 3 and 3-4 is superb. Not that the feel from 1-2, 4-5 or 5-6 feel bad cause they all feel nice but the it finds 2 over to 3 and 3-4 like its on rails.

The throw feels short and the distance from left to right from center feels very short. The handle height feels very similar to stock. I can't honesty tell a different if there is any. The ball feels the same as well as far as diameter.
Also did not notice any additional NVH.

Our weather is cold so I haven't had a chance to try any hard shifts but I didn't have any grind issue previously so I won't be able to confirm that anyhow.

My only complaint would be the side to side spring tension is a little harder than Id like but not bad. It just takes a little more effort to get over to 1-2 and 5-6.

Just wanted to provide an update for those that may be interested in the MGW.

It's really and incredible piece and one of the best upgrades to the car I have done yet.
