Since my original trans didn't have any of the common TOB/clutch/retainer/clunk problems that many have had I put off taking it to the dealer for as long as possible. Unfortunatly I had a bad 6th gear syncro from day one. Started out just occasionally popping out of 6th gear while shifting. Annoying but liveable. By 6000 miles it got to the point where I couldn't even grind it into 6th gear. So I gave in and dropped the car off at the dealer fully modded. No hassles what so ever. Got the car back 2 days later with the new trans. Better yet the new trans shifts smoother than the original trans so I can't complain. I wonder how many 03 transmissions will be replaced before our warranty run out?

Good to hear that you got it fixed with no problems. Some have been voided for much less (discolored spark plugs). Spread the name of that dealership around!
