Hey all!

I just bought a 2003 Cobra with 27k on the clock. As far as cooling mods for an Oklahoma car (temps reach 100+ in the summer easy), what do you guys recommend.
I do not drag race nor will I beat on the car. Just want to make sure it stays nice and cool when it needs too. Thanks guys!

I suggest

170 degree thermostat with fans set up appropriately.
Hood blanket removed
Hood vent flaps removed
Head cooling mod
If you really want to cool it off go e85

I also added a larger heat exchanger to my car but that doesn't really have a direct impact on the engine temps, although sucking in cooler air is always a good thing.

Congrats Op! What's this? You won't beat on the car? What's the fun in that?

Thanks for heads up guys. I have seen the 170* stat and will be doing that asap. As far as not beating on the car ... its tough for me. Nicest car I have ever owned. Have always wanted one. I'm sure the time will come but literally only had it for 2 days. Wish i could go E85 but I live in Oklahoma and we barely have 91.
