just to tell you a little about me
I had an 03 cobra with full boltons stock eaton 6speed irs ran a 11.60 with a 1.9 60ft at 120mph and i was shifting the crap out of it!! Car had adjustable qa1's, longtubes spec3+ etc...FULL BOLTONS. At 16psi car made 493rwhp and 527rwtq bought car for 24000 with 24000miles on it back in 2005 sold in 2009 for 24000 with 39000 miles on it 2 motors later:rockon:!! I was glad to get rid of that money pit
I now have a 04 auto mach with xpipe only for exhaust, 60mm accufab throttle body/bap2400/intake, 4.10 gears, 3000stall, street tuned, and a wet kit 100 shot to the fly wheel. went to a dyno day and it made 370rwhp and 390rwtq. Best time is a 11.40 at 118mph with a 1.63ft alot less hp but quicker. It was all in my 60ft i was scared to break that irs in the cobra at the track. I have yet to run the car at the track on the spray with the upper and lower control arm with solid bushings and lakewoods its hooking alot better.I
I did run it on motor with the new bigs and littles before I was running 12.9 at 106 and i now run a 12.60 at 108 it picked up a lot. 325/50/15 prob over kill but i like the look, thanks to Home - Modify My Stang for the great deal loving the 17x4.5 in the front and 15x10s in the rear.
so i cant wait to spray it on the track with the new control arms, shocks and big and little combo if it picks up like it did on the motor runs I'll be close to 10.xx's!!! cant wait!! If i dont hit a 10.xx ill put some kooks LTs and a dyno tune that should do it i hope. If that dont do it ill up the shot a little;-)
cars are the same color too, so some people think its the same car till they look closer.
