Picked up a 98 Cobra and last fall needed some body work, fixed that.
Car looks good and ran strong but antifreeze level was low.
Filled up at crossover tube while running to the point
where coolant was spitting out.Took another 10 mile run checked and coolant is low again. Will do pressure test tomorrow
hope it's not head gasket.white smoke at start up,none after warm up.
Any one familiar with this Cobra bought outside of Rochester NY

did you properly fill it at the crossover tube. You need to follow the fill procedure in your manual. It may just be low as it takes a while to get all the bubbles out.

Thank you for replies, will do as told hope a proper burping of system will fix this.Did not have heater set to max when I filled it.This car runs strong,no white smoke at start up or when revving and no milky oil so I do not believe the head gaskets are shot.
