My gfs new car. Helped her pick it out.
Its a 99 and has 158k on the clock. Its a little beat, but it runs GREAT. Thats whats important, and Im going to be putting in a lot of resto work to fix her up.
Issues:
-Sideskirts smashed up (came with replacements)
-Rear diffuser broken (need a new one)
-Decent but scuffy paint (clay, cut, polish, easy peasy)
-Door latch broken
-Wobble/pulse at 5mph slowdown (ABS issue? Rotors?)
So Ill fix this badboy up, because ideally she is going to buy a new car next year and Ill take the SVTC off her hands for my daily. But she fell in love with the car from the moment she saw it and has really enjoyed driving it. This is pretty much the nicest car she's ever had so she is geeked on it. She even pulled off on an older WRX that was trying to mess around last night :rolling:
I will be lurking for parts because most sources are dry. I think thats the number one drawback of these cars.
